Last night some of the top underclassmen in the region attended University of Rhode Island’s Elite Camp, run by head coach Dan Hurley.  In attendance was a number of HEA alumni including 8th grade forward Tomas Murphy.  After the one night showcase, the Rams offered Murphy a scholarship according to Adam Finkelstein of New England Recruiting Report.  This looks as though it could be the first of many high major division 1 scholarship offers for the ultra talented forward, as this offer comes before he played his first high school game.
